We took our first camping trip together, October 2009, to High Falls State Park in High Falls, Georgia. The weather was great, the location was perfect and spending it with my wife was the best. We arrived early afternoon on Friday and stayed until lunchtime on Sunday.
Of course we didn't get to spend the weekend alone as we brought along our newest addition to the family. "Denali" is a special dog. We watched a couple drop him off on the side of the road and then drive away leaving him behind to defend for himself. He was only a few weeks old and weighed 4 pounds.
Denali enjoyed his camping experience sleeping away in his bed inside the tent. 
What a great way to relax when you need to get away from the busy life. We are looking forward to going back again soon!
